I was in the Torrance area and came across Hof's while searching for breakfast places. The parking lot looked busy but lots of spaces to park (good signage). There is ample space inside and the place is well-kept. I asked for a table but they told me it was busy and recommended the bar. Only one person was at the bar. It was disappointing to see 3 patrons attended to after I arrived (one at the bar and another at a table directly behind me). The lady named Rachel was inattentive and looked as if she gave preference to regulars because I heard them chatting and knowing each other's names. I ordered a Denver Omelette with fruit and some coffee. I was brought hashbrowns instead of fruit. Also, I had to ask for a spoon to stir my coffee. It's a shame because the place looks great and the food was good. If I were to come here again I would definitely recommend not sitting at the bar.

Zucchini was over battered and the zucchini was falling out. :( Cobb salad was yummy & desserts were delicious! Don’t respond back to the text you get as it is automated.

Went there multiple times. This time wanted to share my experience so other people know about the restaurant they’re really popular for their pie and it’s really amazing. You either do dining or takeout. Their breakfast is really good. Went there for lunchtime this time there was about 10 minutes wait time around 12 noon. After the order food didn’t take that long. About 15 to 20 minutes, which is normal. There was plenty of parking in the front. Our server was really nice. Keep checking on us. Only disappointing part was fries 🍟 this time wasn’t fresh or crispy it was soggy. Other than that everything was excellent. Hopefully next time they won’t fry too many fries and leave it there for long time. Banana pie is amazing will get this week again.

Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and I was really impressed. Definitely one of the better and well-run diners in the South Bay. I myself live in Marina del Rey so I don’t make it down to this area often but I had heard about Hof’s for quite some time so I wanted to check it out. They are well known for their bakery items and especially for brunch. Based on this we decided to stop in for brunch and overall had a great meal. The clientele leans a little bit older, I saw many retired gentlemen and ladies, but I think that just shows that they are a consistent diner. Inside is quite large, actually much bigger than I expected, they have an indoor dining area with plenty of booths and tables as well as a covered and heated outdoor area. So wherever you sit, you’ll be comfortable and warm. There also is a giant free parking lot attached on property, which is a nice change for me coming from West LA. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. The menu is also huge so it has tons of options to choose from.
